Earth vs. the Flying Saucers
Unrated
One of the first great science-fiction movies of our times. Yes the graphics were cheap and the movie was in black and white but in the 50's Ray Harryhausen was a Spielberg or a Lucas. I was looking forward to having the suacers crash into world monuments like the Eiffel Tower or Big Ben. My favorite part was when the saucers crashed into the Lincon Monument that was cool how each individual piece of the was animated. Very cool movie sort of like War of the Worlds or Independance Day.

Oh my freakin' gosh!? Do you like science-fiction movies? Yes? Get off your lazy butt and go see Alien the original science-siction Alien movie. Ripley was so,so,so, cool! I totally love Sigourney Weaver (I wish I had some hair like that). I love the alians but you could so tell that it was somebody in a alien costume and not like CG or robotics, but Ash on the other hand was nothing that I had ever suspected coming. It was really creepy when that one guy got killed then it had the close up on Jones' face. I liked how it was all a conspiracy... Aliens, Yay

"I've seen strange things happen in the strait, but I know something else, if the sea gives you an opportunity, you take it.
These Italian liners, ya know, they couldn't compete for speed, so they built these floating art palaces instead."
Captain Murphy (Gabriel Byrne) and his crew of sea salvagers seems to have struck gold when they discover that the ship Hugh Ferriman (an airforce pilot who 'spotted' the ship, played by Desmond Harrington) was pertaining to was the one and only Antonia Graza, an Italian Luxury Ocean Liner that was believed to be lost to the sea since May 1962.
Maureen thinks shes starting to loose her mind, as she thought she saw a kid aboard the Graza, and is consoled by Ferriman that she just needs some rest for the night. The salvagers had been planning on how to bring the boat to port until they started having problems with their own vessel, the Tugboat Warrior. .
What happens next is a series of alternating luck and mishap, as the crew goes deeper into the bowels of the Antonio Graza, it slowly reveals its secrets to its new guests.
