Labyrinth Labyrinth PG
I heard that there is a drinking game for this film and I really did not believe that it was true until I actually saw the movie. I was really surprised to see Frank Oz and Jennifer Connelly in this film since the only thing that I can think of them playing in are Star Wars (Frank Oz) and Dark Water (Jennifer Connelly). This really reminded me of some sort of demented version of Sesame Street or the Muphets. David Bowie is so flippin' creepy, how could anyone let their child play in this film! Oh, well I don't know him so I guess I can't judge. Hoggle was scary and Sir Venomous was really annoying. The only character I really liked was Ludo, I thought it was so awesome that he could call the rocks. The goblins were okay, but the lady with all the junk was really scary. I have to say that the only cool part in this film was when Sarah was racing to save Toby in the room with all the stairs, I kind of even liked David Bowie's song. I also thought that the scene where everyone was wearing masks was sort of cool too, in a really weird way. I guess this was an okay movie but it was totally weird (especially the part with the dancing bird people).
Eyes Without a Face Eyes Without a Face Unrated
I loved the plot of this film! I am recentely into French films and this one really caught my eye. I thought that for a movie made in 1960 that it would not be very scary I was very surprised. This film gave about the same scariness as "Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte". Had it been made today it would have been much, much scarier. I wish I could have seen what Christaine looked like without the mask on, because what Edna saw was very blurry. Christaine's face was really not the scary part, it was more when Dr. Genessier starts taking off Edna's face and when Christiane set all the animals free and they attacked her father. I liked how nobody ever noticed that it was the Doctor who was kidnapping the women but they always came across the fact that there was a woman wearing a pear choker (the nurse, Louise). I also thought that it was comical when the police come to the clinic and the doctor is in full operation garb and no one bothers to find that very suspicious. Also this movie has a pretty accurate use of chloroform in it. When you are at the title menu of the film and you see something called "the Blood of Beasts" I would really advise you not to watch it. I wasn't really sure what it was, and I selected it, and it turned out to be a documentary on Parisian slaughterhouses. It is very gory! The people shoot the horse and then just slice it open to drain out the blood. I have to say it did not look like what I saw in the Emipire Strikes Back when Han Solo cuts open the Tauntaun for warmth, not even close.

I thought that this was a really good movie, Milla Jovovich did a really good job playing Violet! I liked the mix with the animation!
The Count of Monte Cristo The Count of Monte Cristo PG-13
I really liked this movie because of the lesson that Edmund was that revenge cannot solve all your problems and can make you feel no more better than before.
