Fight Club
R
At first, I didn't quite know what exactly to make of fight club, because it initially felt very confusing, but the more I think about it the more I realize what a truly superior film it really is. The thing to ask one's self when watching Fight Club, much like with The Machinist and Total Recall, is how much of the narrative is actually real. As Edward Norton's deadpan office clerk of a Narrator starts suffering a serious dose of American Psycho style surrealism and meets up with Brad Pitt's enigmatic Tyler Durden, one begins to wonder why these men have exactly been drawn together and what either man hopes to achieve from their strange love/hate relationship where they even seem to share women. I won't ruin the ending for you, but it is definately worth seeing and is essential for fans of mind bending mysteries.
