This movie is considered a cult classic by a lot of ppl but if you want to know my opinion... I don't see why! I had so much apprehension for this movie and was so disappointed after its viewing! Low-budget slasher movie with 3 or 4 kills only, none of which are gory and even if they were they all happened in the dark or offscreen! Bad acting as well and was it me or the character named Raddish was modelled after Screech from Saved by the Bells? If I have to pick a school slasher I'd go with Graduation Day before this one!

The movie release date is wrong as this movie was made in 1979 but only went to theatre in 1980. Anyway this is my absolute fave horror movie. Great gore with zombies that look like what real zombies would look like (decayed, and skeletic, there's some fresher ones as well) My fave ones are definitely the monk zombies! The acting is a little atrocious at time but maybe it's mainly due to the real bad dubbing! The cinematography is very well done and the choice of locations are perfect and somewhat really creepy! Other horror movies should (have) learn from this one as the action/horror started within 10 min. into the movie! Thank you Andrea Bianchi for this little gem! In my opinion one of the most brutal movie is this flick about a violent school gang controlling a certain Lincoln High School. Things get worse when newcomer teacher Andy Norris gets in their way! When nothing and no one is of any help Mr. Norris has only 1 solution taking matters in his own hands! Drugs dealing and abuse, rape, prostitution, violence- in other word decadence will be the first thing that will come to mind to alot of viewers. Creepy enough is the tagline of the movie 'we are the future! and nothing can stop us!' was the director predicting the school violence some school are now facing? Neway, what made this movie so believable is the top notch acting of Timothy Van Patten (Stegman), Perry King (Andy Norris) and of course Roddy McDowell (Terry Corrigan) and the stunning directing of Mark L. Lester. Recommend to everybody into violent non-fantasy movies!. Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
