Sort of uncomfortable to take this personal look through their eyes. No horror like I had hoped.The play for sympathy of the family is a little too heavy. That man needed help before it ever got so far! What a mess! His family turned a blind eye, and the world paid! I am not so sure how we are to know it happened this way.

A look at the Dahmer story through the eyes of his parents. I thought this movie was done very well. No excitement or Horror like in the movie "Dahmer", just straight up Drama. Dahmer is one of my favourite serial killers so maybe I am a little biased since this movie is relatively boring, but I enjoyed it.

Wow! LAME. Their budget couldn't have been more than fifty bucks! And half the shit in this film never even happened. What a waste of time! If Jeffrey were alive, I'm sure he'd hack up everyone involved in this epic disaster of a movie.

i'm really happy to be able to give a movie half a star, I mean the fact that I could sit through this movie which was a PITY PARTY probably written by his father, stating 'DONT BLAME ME OK IM SO SORRY' but didnt give much context as to who Jeff was opposed to some incidents that occurred when he was younger. the bottom line is that his dad was a complete DUMBASS. this is the kind of movie you watch to strictly laugh at the entire time. i'm not even fascinated i the whole 'serial killer' phenomena, just happened to be hanging with some people who were.
oh, and how could I forget? the acting was dreadfulll

This was a different approach to describing how Jeffrey came to be. It was a bit interesting but it left out alot of details.

I did not like this at all. I didn't even want to finish it but Zack made me cuz we paid a dollar for it. hahah. but no i wouldn't watch it.

This was a terrible movie. It looks like it was made in the 90's, like early 90's. Please stay away from this. Just read online and you will get the same effects as this movie.

it was a decent movie.. they tried to have little cut scenes intended to scare ppl but all it did waz just annoy me .... they really didn't get into much detail about it.. .. just some very very very very very basic knowledge

"Would you still love your son if he grew up to be Jeffrey Dahmer"??

Another movie based upon one of the most horrifying serialkillers in our history..
I've seen two other films about Dahmer before, The Secret Life of Jeffrey Dahmer from 1993 and Dahmer from 2002, I've read a lot about him and the first movie was good because it shows a lot of him and what he did, but not in a way that brings the worst nightmares to the sensitive one..the second one was ok, but that one only told a very small piece of the story and very little about who he was..
this one, Raising Jeffrey Dahmer, was very different from the others, this is more about Dahmer's parents..the relationship between him and his father and stepmother, and how they reacted when they learned the truth about their son..its very much about the love between a son and a father and the question whether you can stop loving your child no matter what he does..
this movie also tells much of the whole story, but it leaves out the details about his killings, and that sure can be a relief, but if you want to know who Dahmer really was, you need to know exactly what he did..

Will be interesting to see this movie and see if it does follow the real events about his life as was told on news reports on TV and in papers here after his arrest & conviction. It very much shocked all in our area to have this happen so close to us.
