Trying to fit the typical Hollywood entertainment mold, this movie falls short. Even the dead bodies and the executions feel like mere spectacle. Its predictability, weak plot, lack of direction, and shallow dialogue leave much to be desired. In the end, it's just another forgettable addition to the genre, lacking the depth to stand out from the crowd

A Beautiful empty ship lost at sea.... This movie was an empty shell of what could have been a great film. Very little action Predictive ending Should have went straight to streaming. Worst movie from A24 in over a decade

Liked it more than I thought I would. A very sobering, cautionary tale.

It felt more like a documentary than a movie with a plot line....

It was okay, but very unsatisfying. The movie had potential but there was no character development, no hints about what started the war, they didnt tell us if one side was better than the other, and there were no twists and turns. We're just following war photographers around until one side wins at the end. It was a brutal movie with a lot of killing by both sides. They didnt even try to come up with a story.

Was only a generic Civil War not a US Civil War. Could have been anywhere. The story was about the Press in a War Zone not a US Civil War.

Very high energy with war scenes but lacks any plot or understanding of what the couse of the war in the first place.

Outside of some odd musical score sections and some slower parts I thought this was an outstanding flick. I haven't seen a movie that left me almost speechless in a long time.

Action packed, very tense. Captures the dehumanizing effects of war

The characters are not believable. They don't respond in a way that is normal or convincing. The premise lacks relatability since there are only a handful of freelance photo journalists in the world. To believe that this girl somehow is a fan of the Kirsten Dunst character is a bit of a stretch. There is little plot outside of trying to get from point A to point B. I imagine the director wanted to somehow make it a character based movie rather than plot driven but the characters still remained 2 dimensional.
