Tiger

I like the fact that this is formulaic and keeps with what Walt established, because so much of what Disney does now isn't.

The tigers are gorgeous. It's a beautiful film, and you want to go out and protect them after you've seen it.

Few favors are done by [Disneynature's] homogenous house style, which flattens all potential for complex zoologic, ecologic, and morally philosophic inquiry into… well, cartoon territory. 

You don't have to feel any natural affinity or curiosity for the wild animals of the Indian forest to be drawn into this gorgeous documentary.

Disneynature does a wonderful job of not just offering up a documentary about tiger cubs and their mother, but of shaping their lives into a story that plays out like a movie. 

... The bottom line is, if you’re not into watching tiger cubs wrestling and chasing monkeys up trees, you’re probably a serial killer.

Tiger connects with the audience in a relatable yet magical way that only Disneynature can do – through patience, passion, and awe.



Gorgeous photography fairly well cries out to be seen on the largest screen possible. ... The filmmaking team captures many marvelous moments and are edited into a story with a beginning, middle, and end, all contributing to make Tiger a very good film.
