What a movie.. Ive watched it multiple times and It never gets old. Triumph of India at 1983 is a stuff of legends. Legends were made in that world cup the biggest one is Kapil Dev. Mohinder Amarnath. Movie is well made.. Entire cast has done phenomenal job in playing their respective parts. Ranveer is truly awesome as Kapil Dev.. Pankaj Tripathi was great as always and Jiiva as Srikanth.. A fantastic movie that takes you back in time and lets you feel the journey of Indian Cricket team in 1983. Great job Kabir Khan ..

This story gives the utmost level of great acting accurately given evidence from the actual cricket players this is based off of. However, '83 sometimes gives a less accurate portrayal for some of the characters compared to real life.

This movie is totally inspiring under-dog movie. I love the humour loud script set against a momentous cricket/sports moments. A great watch on the power of team building and spirit even if you are not into cricket .

As a childhood cricket fan, I find a lot of elements in this movie cringeworthy. The time given to the cricket fans who would drive back and forth instead of watching the game.. or the actual crickets celebrating their own shots/boundaries.. could all have been used to cut this movie short .. I had to go back and watch the documentaries on YouTube to recover from the bout of watching this movie.

An Fantastic Cricket movie with the Journey of the Indian Cricket team In 1983 And how they won the cup. A must watch movie with Good direction and superb acting the whole crew especially Ranveer Singh. FINAL REVIEW: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ranveer Singh does a great Kapil Dev impression, but that's more or less the only good thing I can say about this film. It's quite incredible that perhaps the defining moment in the history of this cricket-mad country has avoided adaptation so far, but it deserved a far better film than this uninspired effort. My biggest peeve is how the other countries in the World Cup are depicted - there's no space in 2021 for movies that depict opposing teams as cartoonish villains; surely we're better than that? PS: I also have no idea why Deepika Padukone lowered herself to play the insignificant role that she does here.

Entertaining, nostalgic and takes you back as an Indian to a time when things really changed for Indian Cricket. Movie was longer than I hoped for, but the film has more or less maintained accuracy in covering all key events, especially during the World Cup in 1983.
