Oh boy, the Christmas Prince is back again! While I was not a big fan of the first installment, my wife has a way of convincing me to finish out the trilogy. A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding picks up a year after the first movie ends, nearing the big day for our King and Queen-to-be. The story is light and predictable, with more of the same silly beats from the previous installment. Shockingly, almost every main and supporting character returns, besides the role of Rudy, now played by John Guerrasio. Rudy takes on a much bigger role, this time joining the rest of the family in Aldovia. Unfortunately, Rudy is now written as a brainless New York stereotype, bumbling his way through the castle and working his way into every scene, as the Jar Jar Binks type nuisance of this franchise. Princess Emily (Honor Kneafsey) once again shines as the most well rounded character in the film, easily outshining the rest. A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding failed to bring anything interesting to the franchise and instead, delivers the same bland film, with the only additions holding it further back.

It may not be an Oscar winning series, but the second installment of A Christmas Prince is definitely heartwarming. Or maybe I just watch these movies for Princess Emily's sass, and Simon's good looks. Those are two good reasons to watch these movies, right?

Decent watch, probably won't watch again, but can recommend. This is mostly her being uncomfortable with the necessary formalities of being a celebrity / royalty. It's a lot like "Princess Diaries 2" where she's very clearly going to become queen, despite her discomforts with it. In the theme of family togetherness, they double down, bringing in her friends, and his relatives to come together and deal with a national fiscal crisis. I can't say it's as good as the first one, but if you liked the first one, then go ahead and give this a watch.

As soon as they switched the father into an imbosol, the writing was on the wall. We'll, there certainly wasn't any writing effort put into this sequel. What a shame.

I enjoyed this Christmas show as much as the first. True Love a beautiful marriage and a happy ending. The characters are funny and fun loving. This is truly a fairy tale with a happy ending!!

That was Rotten. Acting rotten, screen writing rotten and jokes rotten. I barely managed to get through the hole thing. (one star because i resisted quitting)
