A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding

I liked it... Everyone knows I'm a Christmas movie fanatic.

I would not recommend A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding, and wish I could just stop here, but alas, I need to elaborate further on this travesty of a movie. So buckle up, we're in for a long rant-filled ride.

A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding is standard, frivolous holiday fare: easily enjoyable and deliberately frivolous. But there are some unusually deep subjects at its core.

Sigh. Magic has not struck twice for this franchise.

An overstuffed and desperate sequel that squanders the goodwill of the first film.

The Royal Wedding is actually less entertaining than the original, mostly because it failed to produce more bizarre, fairy-tale inspired sequences - like the "heroine attacked by wolves" scene in the original version.

This movie is frustrating and lifeless, more so than its Hallmark and Lifetime competitors because it's bad on purpose.

I also forgot most of A Christmas Prince 2's plot because it doesn't really have one. Maybe that's too mean: it definitely has a plot, one that's actually a little interesting this time.
