A Journal for Jordan

A Journal for Jordan is a decent film. It is about 1st Sgt. Charles Monroe King who authors a journal for his son. Michael B. Jordan and Chante Adams give decent performances. The screenplay is a little slow in places. Denzel Washington did an alright job directing this movie. I liked this motion picture because of the drama and romance.

I saw this movie on TV last night & it was so moving that I was sobbing at the end, especially when I found out it was based on a true story. The actors all did a superb job too. I never bother to rate movies here, but I was SO annoyed at all the low ratings that the professional critics gave it that I had to respond. In my humble opinion, they don't know what they are talking about. This movie was great! I think the very high ratings by audience reviewers support my view & make me doubt the credentials of the "so-called" expert reviewers.

A beautiful love story in a modern time.

This film had me in tears from the moment it started. It's such a beautiful love story. Michael B. Jordan and Chante Adam's have incredible chemistry and their on screen love is striking. I was so enthralled and enamored by this movie. 4 thumbs up for Denzel in his directing of this movie. I truly enjoyed it and would watch it again and again and again!!!

Heartfelt beautiful movie that will make you cry but it is so worth it because it is so heartwarming.

I really enjoyed the movie, it was well written and directed. It's on a league of its own.
