I honestly don't get why people don't like this movie. It's a touching take and I didn't even know the actor (Tom Hanks). It gives a reason for Otto's weird antisocial behavior, and it's so compelling to see it unfold. The cinematography and everything is just very good. Its honestly a really good movie.

Absolutely amazing. Now let's make a movie about Sonya. This was so heartwarming.

Second only to Mr. Holland's Opus, this heart-wrenching film is an outstanding recreation of the book. This is one of the only movies that has ever made me cry. The acting is superb and the multiple messages are powerful.
