A Quiet Place: Day One

Michael Sarnoski wrote and directed this apocalyptic thriller. The movie is claimed to be a prequel to the A Quiet Place film franchise. Lupita Nyong'o, Joseph Quinn, and Djimon Hounsou appear, among others. The film follows a terminally sick woman and her cat who, while visiting New York City for her favorite pizza, witness the devastation of the city by extraterrestrial invaders who cannot see but can hear sound from a distance. I know why the film garnered positive reviews. The story, while well-delivered, lacks substance and pace to captivate the viewers.

A must see for any fan of the quiet place series!

Horrible! Bad acting, bad story.

Un très beau film où les personnages sont bien écrits et hyper bien interprétés. C'est par contre toujours rageants de ne pas en savoir plus sur ces créatures.
