A Star Is Born

Not bad. Yesterday i saw the original 1937 version and absolutely liked it. It's a brilliant one. I love the premise so much. The original is not a musical, it was about two actors. There are 4 versions of the story, three of them are musicals. My goal is to see all versions of the stories. The only reason i gave this version 4 stars is because i didn't really liked the first half of the story, i hated the insta love and at first i throught that this gonna be more of a love story, than a story about the fame, but nope. The second half was about the price of fame and now i want to cry so bad. Damn, Gaga your voice is pure gold and i'm pretty sure that this version have the best soundtrack.

Best movie of our time! Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper have amazing chemistry and totally blew me away with their vocals! Who knew Bradly could sing like that! Amazing soundtrack, unbelievable love story and yet an extremely realistic one. I’ve watched this movie at least once every year since it’s release. One of the best movies of our time!

i LOVED this movie and it's amazing how Lady Gaga 'is' the star...i had no idea she could act like this and Bradley Cooper, great too! i loved Sam Elliot, back in the day but for some reason, not so much now

One of the best love stories in the modern screen. The story had heart , and real life Events, very powerful on how life happen. Great movie and a must watch!

Not So Interesting But An OK Movie To Watch While Falling Asleep With The Volume Turned To Zero Gaga Screams Her Lyrics And Wakes People Out Their Sleep While Sleeping To The Movie.

Of all the many movie iterations of this story, dating back nearly a century, this version is the best. And I adore old classic films, so I'm not just saying that because it's new. Superbly acted, poignantly told, great chemistry between Cooper and Gaga. I believed and felt for these characters. Really lovely.

Believe the hype! I'm trying not to get too hyperbolic due to recency bias, but I walked out of this film saying out loud that this may be one of the best movies I've ever seen. I have not been able to get it out of my head since seeing it, and I'm not sure where to even begin with a review. Bradley Cooper is transcendent, Lady Gaga is revelatory, the concert scenes are electric. The film feels raw and personal but simultaneously epic. The chemistry between Cooper and Lady Gaga is beyond description. It's a rare 2+ hour film I wish were longer. There will be a backlash because of the hype and pedigree - don't believe it. This is masterful filmmaking. The first half is as perfect a film as I've seen in ages, and the ending is shattering. This could be a modern masterpiece!

The fly-on-the wall romance between Gaga and Cooper is phenomenal; the first moments of their romance are so beautifully done (as is the rest of their falling in love story). The music is unreal and despite some of the inevitabilities of the plot, the film still packs a tremendous punch to the gut.

Very very good. Bradley is full on believable rockstar. The music is fantastic.
