, 85% Audience Score- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI recently watched this movie only because Tiana Taylor was in it đ once I started watching it I couldnât stop stopping! Very emotional It has several twist and extraordinary, surprising ending!!!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsWhat a way to give birth to A.V. Rockwell's future as she wrote and directed one unconventional, clandestine mother-and-son story. Teyana Taylor led with so much motherly fierceness and passion. I love stories and filmmaking like thisâheavily dependent on the writing with strong performances to personify. Reminded me so much of Moonlight.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsA slow burning explosive. Authentic performances grounded in superb urban detail, & winning direction make this extraordinary story believable and heartwarming.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsUp there with Incendie for most heartbreaking movies I've ever seen.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsExcellent movie, great twist at the end.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsGreat acting. A twist at the end that you don't see coming. Such a realistic portrayal of NYC in the early 90s.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsNo point in making this movie if it wasn't a true story. Harsh, boring, bad acting, bad costumes and hair, too long, and a bunch of nothing. If you're going to age characters, please do so appropriately. Do not have them looking the same over a ten to fifteen year period. I barely finished this after many breaks at home.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsA love letter to Harlem. I absolutely love this movie! All the actors did a phenomenal job. Teyana truly deserves all her flowers!
