felt like a made for (SBS) tv, cross-cultural romcom; which is not all a bad thing if one simply wants to chill & be grateful that no matter how pressurizing cultural family issues may seem, not many of us have to deal with two very different ones.

Great movie, featuring some wonderful quirky characters from a Greek and a Lebanese Muslim family thrown into turmoil by the love between Eve and Alex. The interaction between Alex and his senior Maths class is just priceless. The ending is a bit over the top, buy in the tradition of several other great Australian movies which send up society's expectations.
