Man, what a good movie. The movie is raw, it shows a lot of unexpected emotion. I was not expecting the rollercoaster of emotions that this man sent me on. I have been a big fan since One Direction but have followed his solo career closely. I love the gut but, dam, this made me love him a lot more. From the discussions about his sister and mother to the parts with his son, all of it was worth it. From a lot of the celebrity memoirs and documentary they are edited, they only show what builds up the image and it seems fake, but in this it was raw and pure. I was expecting it to fit the format but this was diffrent. This felt different. My mom, who is not a Louis fan (because he swears) at all, even loved the movie. This movie hits home, but man was it good. So glad he was able to get his story out there to be heard.

This documentary is so unusual and inspiring. Louis Tomlinson's path to solo success (on his own terms) is shown in an intimate, very human context. Charlie Lightening really captured the essence of this unique artist and his beautiful connection with his fan base; it is, indeed, a collective. Every time I rewatch there's something new to love.

One cannot help but feel so proud of this beautiful young man with all he has accomplished. He's taught me how to be optimistic on the other side of the worst pain imaginable. It's so refreshing to see someone show such genuine gratitude for his fans. "I need you and you need me and I f****n like that". He really means it. This documentary is wonderfully inspiring and I hope everyone takes the time to watch. Well done Louis, it's only up from here ❤️

I watched this while it was in theaters. My friend was dying to see it and needed a ride. Me, not a big Louis or 1D fan at the time, agreed because I am interested in knowing about musicians life stories and what inspires them. I left the theater in awe of his life story. I have since listened to his music, which I enjoy so much I went to see him live in concert with the same friend from earlier, and have become more and more of a fan as time goes on. I would highly recommend for everyone, fans or not, as it truly is inspiring and definitely worth watching.

The movie shows Louis' life through his own eyes really, really well and it also shows how he dealt with the tougher situations in his life. It made me cry and laugh and especially it made me proud.
