I was not expected how sad this movie was going to be. The depths of trauma and neglect explored are capped only by a somewhat expected twist you just keep hoping will not come true. But it does 😭 #emotionaldamage

As lush and ethereal as it comes across, and while still packing an emotional punch, it remains a movie in need of a serious edit to give it a lick of linearity. As it is, it's almost lazy in throwing up a hodge podge of ambiguity and tagging it as thought provoking. The best approach I read was to just "let it wash over you" because trying to connect the dots is impossible. So those people left lingering in the dark after that amazing song finish weren't blown away as much as utterly confused

Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal are a match made in heaven.

🪟 Exquisitely performed dreamlike wandering through complex memories and desires, wrapped in beautifully vivid, tangible imagery. Perhaps just a tiny bit too sentimental? Or maybe that's just the cynic in me speaking.

I cried so hard. This is one of the best movies I have seen in a while. The acting and cinematography where amazing and so captivating.

As fantastical as this is, it feels as real as life. We live life from our minds, from the inside, it's all we know of whatever's out there from inside our opaque skulls and chests. And this is what it looks like. The most emotionally powerful, empathic, graceful film I've seen in a long time. Real -- and at the same time, inhabiting the fantasy is equally wonderful. This goes on my lists of favorites. I'll will remember it as long as my mind lets me.

An absolute masterpiece and the best of 2024 for me. This film hit me so hard that I can’t stop thinking of it 7 months later. The acting, the pictures and the metaphoric storytelling produce so many contradictory feelings and remind us of what unites us as humans - our loneliness and longing for love. The art of cinema is telling a unique story but make it universally relatable to anyone. And that’s where „All of us strangers“ did a 1000% job. It’s complex and you have to read between the lines and eventually go some metaphorical levels deeper to understand how wonderful it is - exactly as life and the human experience :)

All Of Us Strangers - 9/10. Let me preface by saying its a damn shame they didn’t push on hard this film to be a heavy awards favourite. Scott, Bell, and Foy should’ve been campaigned to be Oscar faves here. All three deliver incredible performances in this emotional romantic fantasy film. Its fantasy element is in a grounded ghost story, and its shot and presented in such an empty yet thoughtfully emotional manner. My main complaint with this movie was the ending, which for me in a selfish way I wanted in a different manner. But otherwise, this is a beautiful drama with an incredibly in control Scott in the lead. He has this wonderful ability to show so much with so little effort, and he is just captivating in this role. It reminded me of HER in a way of capturing the loneliness one might feel within a vast city, while also reminding me of the animated film Robot Dreams. A great film which I find a travesty that it was neglected on the award circuit.
