Being alone with the characters in this might warrant horrors, just not the ones in this movie. It does get better and creepy in the final 30 minutes but it's too little, too late to redeem the first hour.

Somewhere between trippy psychological thriller and performance art, this thing is...interesting? Emily Bennet (co writer and director) does a great acting job in this almost one-woman show but outside of a surface plot - she's deeply in love but it's not going well - you have no idea of what's happening, or what's happened, since the film plays with time and space and maybe reality. There's plenty of "stuff" there if you want to interpret but it's so spacy that any interpretation would be fine. I think the answer to the question, "what is this film about?" is completely open. If all this makes it sound more interesting than it is, well, it's less interesting than that.

A perfectly distorted spiral that unfolds in an unknown geometry where time disintegrates leaving the viewer disoriented as they become horrifyingly familiar with the characters. Subtlety drips from every intentional choice provoking tension unlike anything before it, until both subtlety and tension are a puddle in the sand. Expressionism done brilliantly.

Just meh, it was intense for a bit then fizzled out for me
