A trippy little thriller that accomplishes a lot with a little.

A poor mans version of She Dies Tomorrow, with some David Lynch clumsily mixed in.

The whole third act — including the “why” behind all this terror — falls apart.

The majority of Alone With You centers on Bennett, who delivers. Her emotional range from boredom to desperation and to fear is outstanding.

With all the thematic and narrative breadth of a horror short, Alone with You painfully stretches its scares to the point of repetitive frustration.

A worthy and unnerving debut effort, well worth seeking out.

It expresses the traumas of isolation through an engrossing lead performance and imaginative use of the restricted space.

Utilizing subtle jumpscares and layered mystery to unleash its many nightmares, Alone With You drips with fearful intrigue right up till the end.

Alone With You is an evocative, clever suspense horror thriller, which keeps you guessing as to whether the terror is psychological, all-too-humanly sadistic, or supernatural.

But the reason it works as well as it does is because Alone with You becomes a cagey allegory.
