American Bistro

Not a single moment of the movie, the script or the acting came across as authentic. Even if viewed solely as a comedy, the jokes simply missed the mark. A movie about food, matched with a number of close-up vomit scenes; no connection to anything wonderful about food or cooking. It was such a narcissistic movie about one man's first-world relationship issues, that I came away feeling completely empty.
