Was Pacino blackmailed? gambling debt? Devastating that a national treasure was somehow signed onto this boring mess.

I am absolutely shocked that Al Pacino, one of America's best actors would agree to work on this dreadful, amateurish and badly directed film. The leading lady could not act, at all. Her's was a wooden face just reading lines off a teleprompter. Even the extras looked like they had just been recruited from the local high school. The only saving grace was Pacino's closing argument which had echoes of his work on Scent of a Woman. But altogether, just an awful film.

Thought provoking and well-acted. May have been made on the cheap but still effective.

Al Pacino does a wonderful job with the material he has to work with. I didn't find his character sympathetic or any of the characters sympathetic in this film.

Despite all of the negative reviews I enjoyed the movie. I think she should have been found innocent on all 8 counts as a good point was made ... what would anyone on the jury have done in her place? Would you have stood there and said send me to a concentration camp because I am not going to do that? It was a bit slow at points, but was a long story to tell. Overall I think it was well done and enjoyable entertainment.

Spoilers: What bang-up courtroom work by Pacino. Reminiscent of him as a frustrated and jaded Arthur Kirkland in 1979's "And Justice for All," with him telling the judge, "You're out of order! This whole trial is out of order!" With the critics' takes, I was expecting a dog, but this was good storytelling, nicely weaving in the WWII stuff with the trial and courtroom stuff. I didn't know the outcome, so was surprised she was not guilty of seven out of eight and didn't get fried, and served only 12 outa 30. But Meadow played this pitch perfect, reminiscent in looks of January Jones, if not that pretty. I was surprised Al didn't play the rape and assassination attempt on Goebbles cards, but he was worried about no corroboration. But Al looked like a guy born to be in a courtroom, playing the jury like a fiddle, as comfortable as a pig in mud. His main points were Axis Sally was a persona, not a person, and jurors shouldn't convict her for surviving by reading scripts rather than being shot or thrown in a concentration camp. The ruthless evil of Goebbles reminds us of the hate that was the Nazis, with sad echoes of the same from Putin in mass-murderous genocide and war crimes on the Ukrainians now. Bravo to Al. He loves this stuff and turned in a tour de force in this role. And Laughlin might have told the government he'd put up a good effort, making them think he'd make Sally a sacrificial lamb who would be hanged, but as the seen-it-all, craggy maverick he was, he made sure he kept his integrity as a superior defense lawyer and almost delivered a clean sweep of eight acquittals, losing only one. He made it clear he'd be the government's appointed lawyer, but would not be its hitman, which was at the heart of this good story.

This drama was alright. Meadow Williams, Al Pacino, Swen Temmel, Carston Norgaard, and the rest of the cast did a decent job in this movie. This true story about radio personality Mildred Gillars accused of treason was tedious and slow. The story wasn't very interesting and the actors did a terrible job on each of their roles. If you haven't seen this movie yet. Don't waste your time. It's not worth it.

Interesting story, but oof the movie was really bad. Really hope this is not the future of Amazon Prime movies.
