The film seems to be trying to be a poor version of Wes Anderson's films, with curious characters and colorful images. Antiquies fails to execute. Some interactions are so repetitive that you start to dislike the characters

Slow and boring, didn't care for any of the characters.

Every once in awhile a film comes along that just really gets my sense of humor . Really really dry and they pretty much nailed it all the way through . I understand this one won’t be for everyone but it really did it for me . I also love that it was an indie without even a critic score 4.1

Beautiful cinematography used to provide a portrait of life in the South. The dry, witty humor shines through in this film, as the writers and directors explore different aspects of the human experience through the vignette of an antiques store in Arkansas. Brilliant acting paired with wonderfully framed scenes makes this film pure delight to enjoy, with themes everyone can relate to. Such an entertaining cast of characters - definitely recommend watching!

The beauty of this film is in its simple and effective storytelling. In a time where so many films feel as though they are trying to dazzle you with effects or an unnecessary plot twist, Antiquities does the opposite. Nothing feels forced, each actor gives a great performance(telling loads about the great direction given), and it engages the viewer in a way that allows them to fall in love with each of these characters. Antiquities is a well executed story that definitely hits its mark.
