Garbage. Classic sequel taking advantage of the good ones before it to promote a horrible one. Write a good movie first.

Bad boys 3 is an amazing surprise as it follows two over the top action movies and outperforms them and even adds emotional quotient. And of course, our two leads are absolutely charismatic. The action is good not great, but the film is entertaining.

Chatinho...

"After such a long wait following the second movie, I thought that maybe the third one would be interesting. However, it turned out to be basic, with crude effects, and quite generic. I was disappointed; I had higher hopes."

it's been 25 years since the first movie and 17 years since the 2nd one these movies made Will Smith and Martin Lawrence quite the buddy cop duo their motto has always been 'bad boys for life' let's face it though, the first two films aren't exactly masterpieces maybe it has to do with the fact that Michael Bay had a lot of control over them sure the two actors are cool to watch but the previous films have been lacking a good story or have had nothing but mindless explosions and annoying bantering back and forth now with Bay out of the way two new directors take the helm for the 3rd and possibly final installment of the trilogy and believe it or not this entry is actually good! it's got a high amount of action and plenty of well-timed laughs in equal measure there's also some very good emotional depth which was a shock it's got a lot of elements of a Michael Bay production yet it never loses focus of the human side of things in this film Mike Lowery doesn't want to retire, he wants to remain in the fast lane with high body counts taking out bad guys' although Marcus Burnett wants to leave all the death and destruction behind after witnessing the arrival of his grandson they are reaching middle age too and Mike might be losing sight of holding onto his path in life what's the next step for him? should he continue to go past the legal system or toss in the guns? things take a turn though when an enemy from Mike's past resurfaces taking away everything dear to him now it's up to them both to come out of retirement and go for one last thrill ride Joe Pantoliano's Captain Howard of the 9th precint even adds a new team called AMMO consisting of the next generation of intelligent law enforcement agents from Alexander Ludwig to Vanessa Hudgens this is some of the best chemistry between Smith and Lawrence cause it seems like they are reaching the end of their careers in terms of their roles again the action is pretty intense and coherent, the leads are at their finest, and the stakes are very personal here all of us want to have a legacy after we're done, can we be spiritual or physical in certain scenarios, it's never too late to settle down, life doesn't have to be constant danger, and take the reins before you fall off and can't get back up 'Bad Boys For Life' is the first actual good installment for a change and it does serve as fitting closing chapter for these two charismatic leads

The movie went all the way off of its original pilot franchise: Bad Boys 1, this one looks more like action soupopera, than a real action movie. I hate it.

They say this was the first time Will Smith headlined the film ahead of Martin Lawrence and I can see why. Lawrence was overweight that they only really done headshots, more headshots of him than him making headshots. He never ran or got involved in very much and when he did the story was written around his waistline allowing him to do very little. Comparing that to Will Smith's athleticism and the pairs dynamic duo over the previous films it felt like a huge let down to see the writers work around Lawrence's waistline. The story was a bit clunky and the whole prince charming saves the day and rides off into the sunset along with the troupe of 5 minute conversation solves years of family dysfunction and issues. Add that to the terrible special affects team that made the building fire look like a pantomime and you have a very diluted, overpriced, cheap cocktail compared to the straight shots we were getting in the previous installments.

I remember when I was a kid and I watch the sequel, I was highly impress of its action sequences and storyline. Now almost 12 years later this third iteration was more a meh, I mean those that binge watch the prior films or have nostalgic feelings will like it more than I did. For me this film felt like a Fast Furious film and force by the studio executives for an easy cash grab, as there is nothing new in this one as its very similar to the prior ones with a below average storyline.

The story was ok and Will Smith was excellent as usual but Martin Lawrence was unbelievably bad, it was like he'd never acted before
