- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsSurprisingly good. Who knew Barbie could be relatable?
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsOverall pretty, fun and touching. All of the real-world commentary is utter bullcrap which can be debunked in moments, but the character arcs of Barbie and Ken is really well done. This is not a children's movie.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI absolutely loved it, first time since Braveheart came out when i was a kid it actually came out tears from my eyes from when he shouted freeeedom, that happened during the Ken song. It was so beutifull.A really great movie and Ryan Gossling is so damn good in this,as well as Margot and many more other talents. It had it all. Great movie. A solid 10/10
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsLoved the movie! There were funny and sad moments but the movie definitely teaches you a life lesson.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsWatching this movie was pretty disappointing. It has nice production pieces, Margot Robbie is a great choice to play Barbie, and the cast in general were all pretty darn good. But the movie is a mixed bag of attempting to seem fun and heavy handed political talking points done very poorly. There is almost a hatred from Barbie throughout the movie as many characters outside of the Barbie universe (The real world) talk trash about how Barbie is bad. There is also a distinct hatred for men in the movie and they treat the men in the movie as low level idiots who are either stupid, misogynistic, or just evil. Its seems like they marketed this as being fun to take your children to but I am just glad we saw it before taking family to see it as it really felt preachy with its messages that were hidden from the trailers. Why couldn't this movie just be fun for everyone and keep the political arguments out of it? Also, come on no Barbie Girl song in the movie? No the terrible remix at the end does not count.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsComplete TRASH. Had I seen this in the theater, and not at home I would have walked out. I only finished it because my wife was mildly amused.
