I hate documentaries but this one caught my attention immediately. Who has not dealt with BS from a physician or insurance company? All doctors are just practicing medicine and our lives are in their hands?

Well done - a decent balance of insights into issues facing most American families, along with personal effects of how one family was impacted

Fascinating and heartbreaking. Mr. Burrows does a wonderful job of documenting the experiences his mother endured at the hands of our healthcare system. Tragic and unacceptable and still no one is held accountable.

Best Documentary of the year! This is a pround story, that is sadly no longer unique. Financial ruin, families torn apart, and needless deaths & endless suffering are happening NOW because of systematic medical negligence. Inaccurate & inadequate care is wasting more than just tax-payer dollars...it's wasting the future of this country in exchange for corporate profits. Folks get all crazy about mistreatment of whales at Seaworld - but when it's tax-paying Americans being tortured will anyone bother to care??? Watch this film & remember those you love...then quantify their value to a dollar amount.... This is a work of brutal honesty. Tragedy with heart.

Steve Burrows is a hero for his tenacity and this gripping account of healthcare gone wrong. There were moments that I didnï¿ 1/2 1/2 1/2(TM)t breathe waiting for what was next in the heartbreaking account of one woman who put her trust in her doctor and healthcare system. The outright lies told to this family unfortunately didnï¿ 1/2 1/2 1/2(TM)t surprise me as people lie all the time to save their own asses! But the fact that there is no remedy in the courts and no acceptance to fix the grave errors in this malpractice case blows my mind. Itï¿ 1/2 1/2 1/2(TM)s a must watch!
