A very daring glimpse of just what the elite are capable of. The film might have benefitted from a darker ending, that being said however, a lot of these stories in real life don't have a happy ending and it most likely serves to some as an ending they in fact did not get themselves.

Stars Naomi Ackie, Channing Tatum, Christian Slater, Ricardo Arjona’s daughter Adria, 6th sense Haley Joel Osment in this thriller where a couple of nobodies waitress are invited along with other girls to this private island owned by billionaires only to find out there’s something super shady going on. It starts really slow and sadly it it kind of boring even though the ending is kind of good still it’s not a very good thriller 🍿🍿🍿/5 on Prime

Utter waste of time. Which is unfortunate, as there are some good actors in this movie. I feel bad for them.

From Slater King's "apology" video at the beginning of the film, it's entirely obvious where this is going. The sensual, tropical party scenes are magnificently filmed, but feel rather gratuitous when you know what's coming. The inevitable horror, when it unfolds, is again fantastically shot, but in no way clever or quick-witted. Watchable, I guess.

"Blink Twice" is a mixed bag that starts slow but eventually finds its footing. The premise is intriguing, drawing viewers into a satirical horror narrative that takes aim at male toxicity and the dark underbelly of privilege. However, the first act drags, introducing a roster of unlikable characters who, despite being well-portrayed by a stellar cast, fail to elicit much empathy. Channing Tatum, stepping away from his usual roles, delivers a chilling performance as Slater King, a tech billionaire with a sinister edge. The film's twist is a highlight, injecting much-needed energy and surprise into the storyline. Technically, the movie shines with sharp editing and an atmospheric soundtrack that heightens tension. As Zoë Kravitz's directorial debut, it's a commendable effort that showcases her potential behind the camera. While "Blink Twice" doesn't break new ground, it's a decent watch for those interested in a dark, satirical take on contemporary issues.

I thought this was a well made film, solidly directed, well acted and an original concept.
Yet I wasn't as taken a back with it as some have been still it was entertaining, had elements of Saltburn to it but is clearly it's own thing.
I enjoyed it but not one I would necessarily watch again.
