Blink Twice

Kravitz has style and good timing, and Ackie is fantastic in the lead, capable of conveying both “cool girl” and absolute eye-bolting horror.

It has style all over the place... It's well-executed.

It’s a film about the abuses of power, the dangers of being a woman in a man’s world and the importance of female solidarity, but is never didactic, just gripping. In short, Blink Twice is both brainfood and a blast.

Hard to imagine audiences wanting to see this film over and over again, even with the fancy visuals.

The actress turned director shows some real chops with her Channing Tatum–led, "eat the rich" horror spin, but the movie ultimately falls short of its lofty influences.

Blink Twice” is a big, bold swing, even if its message becomes muddled along the way. It’s clear Kravitz wants to make a statement with this film. What’s less clear is what exactly that statement might be.
