Who says low budget has to look low budget? Excellent genre film, acting, camera, script is a blast. Hope this director and his crew go far.

Anyone that gives this movie more than 1 star is lying. This is below a B rated movie. Porn stars act better than this trash.

A day in the life of a dysfunctional vampire family. A remarkable concept for a movie. The lead actors are very good. Unfortunately, the supporting cast is a real drag on the movie. There are significant pacing problems, with some shots extended as almost filler. Also, there are some extended ono-on-one conversations that become unnatural and forced the longer they go on. Still, an inventive concept that was done well enough to remain entertaining.

A remarkable vampire movie, grounded in reality, with great writing and acting. A toothsome romp of storyline and horror. One of the best I have seen in a long while, highly recommended.

An original take on the vampire genre, Blood from Stone is a cleaver and beautifully shot indie film. Vanja Kapetanovic brings great charisma to the screen and delivers one hell of a performance. The gore action is top notch but the film goes deeper and offers complex characters as well as a bold ending:)

Great style and incredible performances. Blood from Stone is not your standard vampire movie.

So much more than an Indie film and not your typical vampire movie. It's so much better! This movie has a current take on the life and struggles of these mythological beings in the current times. The story successfully showed the depth of relationships, internal struggles and the breaking off of the old ways while navigating the modern times. A story that anyone can relate to. Superb acting, excellent cinematography and catchy music composition.. what's not to like? It's a must see movie!

This movie came at the perfect time around Halloween, and kept me entertained and wanting to see what happens next! I never really thought about what a modern-day vampire would be like, but this film does a great job presenting the woes that could come about with love, temptations, etc. The audio was difficult to make out at times, but I thought they did a great job with realistic special effects, the plot was engaging, and the production was high quality. Although I don't watch many indie films and am unable to weigh it against comparable others, I was very impressed to find out that such a small crew worked on this. Tons of kudos to them!

The best thing about this vampire movie is that it's not about vampires. This horror film is a dramatic look at loneliness, family dynamics, and the feeling of being trapped in a relationship. There's ample blood and action to keep any watcher hooked, but the scenes that really held my intrigue were between the two leads (who were both absolutely masterful in their portrayal) watching the co-dependence and how they tangled with their coinciding need and disdain. I loved the choice of setting. These gorgeous, but decaying, characters fight for their lives under Las Vegas' dazzling facade that was captured so magnificently in the cinematography. Blood From Stone is a great horror film, and moreso, It's a great film.
