Blue Beetle
audience Reviews
, 92% Audience Score- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsIt was a very enjoyable, superhero movie. It had a lot of heart. I loved the family and grandma was awesome to see in the movie.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsThe movie was better than other DC movies, but Disney's woke storytelling ruined it. Not worth anyones time
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBest superhero movie since endgame, well worth it
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsLoved it! I'm a Chicana from Austin, Texas. I could relate to the family and all the cultural references. My family and especial my abuleas would have kick butt for me too! And don't forget the Vick's, cure-all.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsA refreshing family-oriented superhero movie with lots and lots of heart, wit, and a pinch of bittersweet tragedy. A shame that it underperformed at the box office as it is a rare DC film that gets it right!
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsI found the start of the movie quite good and i think it is a good story (I don't believe it did "young justice" or "Batman: The Brave and the Bold" any justice), but as the movie progressed i found it getting drawn out with more one liners and bits also the CGI looks like a 14 year old did it in after effects.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsWas excited. Now disappointed. Did my favourite DC character dirty.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsWorst DC film yet, don't be like marvel and just dish out the "working formula" Movie is predictable, unoriginal, poorly written, unfunny and irritating. Also, the family doesn't need to be so "helpless", clueless and naive for them to be the "vulnerable princess" to be saved by their Prince Charming
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsTruly a well done film overall. Great mix of heart warming family values mixed in with hilarious George Lopez comedy (never knew he was actually funny) as well as Marvel quality intense action sometimes even brutal. Really pleasantly surprised by the whole thing…. -written by a white guy
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsUnfortunately, I actually paid money to see this trash! What an absolutely terrible movie that should have never been released! The movie could have done so much more in representing the Mexican and Mexican American community in my opinion.
