One of the best films I've ever seen. I don't think it's for everyone but if you love the horror romance genre, this will blow you away. There's so many small things in the script and the background that you don't even catch until your 2nd watch through. Timothèe Chalamet is amazing and conveys every emotion so well with his body language that the scenes without any dialogue became my favorite. The ending had me sitting in silence contemplating my existence for about 2 days. 10/10.

There's some odd air quotes hidden cuts otherwise pretty good movie the Cinematography is good the acting is great the story is interesting and I don't really feel the runtime. Also the passage of time doesn't feel super long at points. Grade B+

A bloody road movie starring Timothee Chalamet and Taylor Russell. DISCLAIMER: Do not watch if pregnant or impressionable! After all the warnings, you can turn to the plot. Two outcasts cannibals run into each other on American highways in the 1980s. Thin and sonorous Lee (Timothee Chalamet), with red hair, has been living as an"eater" for some time. Young Marlene (Russell), who is just starting down this path, is abandoned by her father with a few bucks and an audiocassette that tells the story of her unusual addiction to human flesh. In an attempt to understand her new nature, Marlene seeks out her mother and, one day, feels and meets Lee. You met me at a very strange time in my life", as one famous movie said. Both do not accept themselves, go through an identity crisis, suffer from nightmares, and reach out to each other in search of support. At some point, the film resembles the legendary "Only Lovers Will Survive" by Jim Jarmusch, and by the end, the characters are even "trying to live like ordinary people," but this love story is from the meat department. If you have strong nerves and you love festival cinema, you will like this dish: a very impressive final won't leave anyone indifferent and will reveal the name of the picture. Bon appétit! *P.S. Probably my best movie recommendation on Valentine's Day. P.P.S Just heartbreaking tracks by Trent Reznor

Love can be found in the least likely of places, especially with creatures that eat meat! In a world where cannibalistic humans hide, a lost girl finds a connection with a fellow man-eater and the two begin a relationship that helps soothe their loneliness but also invites danger. A unique blend of road trip, romance and horror, this intriguing story manages to leave you feeling fresh, bones and all!

Really like the road trip through a crumbling late 80s America via a sub-sub-culture. Had the movie been willing to be more violent and transgressive, it might have been a masterpiece.

Dude! WTF??!! I got through 30 minutes of this and I had to turn it off! This was totally not what I was expecting. This was just too much for me…and not in a good way!

Started off interesting. I just can't understand the point of the movie. Felt like a waste of time. I watched it in the theatre and me and the people behind me actually laughed when it was over. Cinematography was stunning, though.

Creepy. Gruesome. Very good. I'd totally recommend 'Bones and All'. I found plenty of enjoyment across the just over 2hr run time, despite plenty of unsettling moments scattered in there. I personally found the first half stronger than what follows it, though all in all it's a movie I had a positive time with. Taylor Russell and Timothée Chalamet, two actors who give impressive showings in this 2022 production. Russell kinda outshines Chalamet in parts, but the latter does come up trumps with some strong emotion near the end. One thing's certain though: Mark Rylance is the star of the show, for my money at least. What a performance, loved every second of him being onscreen. Simply the perfect actor for the role of Sully! A well made film, props to 'em for sticking with the creepiness of the story too. I mentioned recently after watching 'Saltburn' that I was disturbed. In that sense, well, that was child's play compared to this! Big fan of these sorta flicks that make you feel uncomfortable.

I was ultimately disappointed with this reunion of director Guadgnino and actor Chalamet. Their first collaboration, CALL ME BY YOUR NAME, was in my mind one of the 10 best films of last decade, so my hopes were high. And things get off to a great start with an extraordinary pre-credits introduction that contains the most shocking moment in the movie. From there, I just didn't feel very interested in these characters, and it quickly begins to feel monotonous. At the end, I was left with a feeling of apathy, which is the very worst - I'd rather hate a movie than feel nothing at all. On the plus side are two outstanding performances by Russell and Rylance that I would possibly include on my personal Oscar ballot. Russell is a breakout here, and whatever feelings we feel are thanks to her performance; and Rylance only has three scenes, but he is aiming for the rafters in role that could easily have been disastrous. Chalamet (who really needs eat a sandwich or something) is good, too, but his character can't compare to his co-stars. I didn't find it scary enough to be a horror movie, romantic enough to be a love story or memorable enough to succeed as a road trip movie. The cannibal scenes, thankfully few and far between, are naturally shocking at first but even they get to feel a bit stale. What I'm missing here is some kind of passion - the one moment that felt alive outside the aforementioned beginning was a small scene featuring an unrecognizable Chloe Sevigny. Otherwise, it felt to me like a highlight reel of a limited series that wasn't substantial enough to whet my appetite.
