Journey of love, laughter, pain and honesty. Movie reminds us that family may hurt us but we always have to have their backs when they need us the most and to be brave in order to avoid such life mistakes from repeating themselves but can we truly stop the same mistakes the ones before us have made?

Sweet. Profound. Funny. Tragic. Hopeful. It's a tender yet heavy masterpiece. Well done all around.

Harrowing ending. Don't watch if you are depressed.

Waste of time and money, the son looks as old as the Dad, would’ve been more interesting if they were lovers but I doubt the actors in those roles could pull it off. The accent and the wig on the son were ridiculous and I say this as someone who wants more baseball films. Thumbs down.

Wonderful, sensitive, exciting. Everything a film should be.

This is a beautiful film. My Dad wasn’t anything like Marty, but I could relate to Ted’s desire to do something completely ridiculous to keep his Dad alive. The theme of baseball being the key to life resonated strongly with me-even though I’m a lifelong Yankees fan. (As is Duchovny, so he gets props from me just for convincingly portraying a Red Sox fan) Our parents are mostly a mystery to us for most of our lives, we don’t see them as people with lives of their own-they’re just Mom and Dad. When you see your parent as someone who had the same kind of loves and fears and disappointments that you’ve had in your life, that’s when you can really love them as whole people. Duchovny has given us a sweet story with just enough humor to be real. Don’t listen to the critics, watch it for yourself.

I truly wish we had more films like this. Speaking to the human condition of love, loss, forgiveness, and redemption. Each character was well rounded. This is a strong book to screen adaptation for the first time in a long time. The film kept the original tone of the book and I believe that David Duchovny hit all the high points of his original novel in this film. With the film going for a triple play of Drama, comedy, and romance, the pacing was as I expected and not a moment was wasted. All in all it was good classic cinema and art. Hollywood, take notes! Well done cast a crew!

Duchovny really hits a home run with Reverse the Curse! He really did a great job of translating his book to film and has some cool shots and cut aways that added really cool elements to the story! I laughed, I cried and I laughed some more! Duchovny and Logan really have great chemistry together and Stephanie nails this dramatic role! The 3 characters really balanced each other out and were enjoyable to watch! David’s best movie and performance!
