Predictable. Tries to sensationalise trauma and oppression. The dialogue is terrible. Unnecessarily drawn out.

Beautifully directed, poetic plot, lot of easter eggs from Bengali culture. I am addicted and need more movies like this one! A must watch :)

Decent watch, the story is a little predictable, but the acting is really good, especially by the female lead (overall lead).

Set in 20th century the story unfolds in a fictional village where men are getting killed mysteriously. Hold on to the edge of your seat as Bulbul plunges into horror, mystery and has more than imagination to offer.

Phenomenal cinematography, set design and the story unfolds so beautifully. Based on the fable of she-demons in many south Asian cultures, this story lets you know that the real horror is not some ghost hiding in the woods, but the brutality that women suffer as the second sex. Highly recommend!

Very obvious to figure out but they don’t really try to hide the “secret” supernatural killer. This is is in Hindu so English subs for me. If you like revenge ghost👻 stories with effort and good cinematography then I recommend because there are not enough good interesting horror movies to be picky af. Look it’s a different culture and one that disgusts me in many ways, what’s new ..

Predictable, boring, could be condensed into a 30 minute story instead for a better impact. Dialogues were lacklustre. The costume and set design was beautiful. The only redeeming part of this movie. Two words: Propaganda and Pretension.

This movie honestly deserves credit on so many levels. It's not the classical horrormovie you might expect, no, it's not even marketed as horror. But if you're a woman or anyone with an empathic heart, you'll find the true horror lies within the everyday reality of social and cultural restrictions, secrets and problems. You don't need a monster for this. This movie is tragic, romantic and enraging in all the right spots. With just a pinch of creepy. A true gem you should see yourself.

This movie was something new and fresh, something we as an audience wanted to see horror genre of movies.
