Excellent film, for a B grade; well-acted, good script, realistic sets/props and unrelenting action, held my interest throughout.

I think it was okay, I was inebriated.

As soon as the werewolf concept crept in I though oh no this is a load of crappio.

I have a sneaky suspicion that the movie the actors made and the movie the audience saw may have had two different plots. There was some dodgy editing going on which took away from some good performances. Tom felton had a particularly good segment where he told his story, but slow cuts, poorly edited action and a sense of missing elements gave the overall film a low quality finish despite high quality performance and costume design. I can't help but feel based on one characters reaction at the end that the story one character in particular experienced was true to the horror genre, whereas the story I experienced as a viewer was a historical drama.

Burial is decent enough post WWII story that was horrifyingly mislabeled. Only substance that's even remotely haunting is that a group of soldiers carrying a casket around. In aspects of a war movie Burial manages to present yet another side story of the post WW society that's still grasping the new realities. Gloomy skies with dark woods beneath are tone setters for a darkness refusing to cease it's existence. Cast puts up a fine performance to portray the exhausted soldiers struggling to finish up the final assignment. Apart from it's historical value there's hardly anything that sparks for this flick. But it would pass the time just fine.

Slow moving, good acting but disappointing story and ending.

It was okay, kinda dumb moments, characters can be annoying, and the ending isnt that rewarding. Its okay i guess, its not bad but its not too good either, I don't think i would recommend this movie to anyone.

Burial is definitely no horror flick - just carting Hitler's body around in a box in order to keep the narrative of his death in power.

Burial teases you with the idea, or feeling that something big is at foot, that horror suspense and the fantastical, are just around the corner... Nope! What awaits you, is a clunky, poorly directed, slow moving, boring film, about German partisans and Russian soldiers still fighting it out, (the war being over) for Hitler's inconsequential, irreverent remains.
