Cabrini

Having never heard of Francesca Cabrini prior to seeing this movie, I found the story to be purely inspirational in every sense of the word. The constant barrage of barriers that Mother Cabrini faced and the faith and ambition she never allowed to waver are the types of stories that need to be told more often. It is the bravery in the face of hatred, adversity and trial that is exhibited in the spirit of this movie and the willpower that Mother Cabrini exhibited in her life is definitely well-demonstrated throughout the film. John Lithgow plays a purely detestable character and does it with perfection that aids to posing him as a strong agitator in antagonizing Mother Cabrini's resilience and testing her aptitude at every corner.

Led by a commanding performance from Cristiana Dell'Anna, Cabrini is a well-made, stylish, interesting, albeit lengthy movie depicting the work of the titular character. Its universal themes of perseverance and determination in the face of seemingly overwhelming odds can resonate with all. Angel Studios is on a bit of a role.

Beautiful looking film with a great real life story to boot. The sort of movie only a very small studio would make. It's a real pity Hollywood seems to have fallen off a cliff.

Great immigrant story and epic score. They don't make many movies like this these day's. Girl boss story done with heart.

Interesting to see if it will receive any Academy nominations. Better than some faith-based films. Angel Studios keeps getting better. Probably used some of the profits from "Sound of Freedom".

Good enough to watch twice!

This film told the story of Cabrini however, it was too long, boring and repetetive. 2 Stars for the outstanding cinematography, genuinely surprised!

10/10, I came with low expectations but it was a wonderful surprise, The movie does empowerment so good I have no words to explain, nothing feels forced and overall it delivers the message it intends in the most entertaining way.

Perfect, humane, inspiring.
