An OK remake, like many of the ones in recent years, that make almost an identical movie, but with Hollywood people... But the original will always be better in this cases where it is a memorable film. Hard to surpass

Critics say this movie comes off as patronizing while trying to be uplifting and I wholeheartedly disagree. This movie calls out the patronizing attitude people with disabilities face every day in multiple aspects. This movie does a phenomenal job of highlighting the robust and fulfilling lives people with disabilities lead when given the right love and support. It shows the different ways they live, work, volunteer and build families. Harrelson is abbrassive in the beginning without being despicable and quickly learns what an incredible life you can live when it's touched by these individuals. Everyone should see this movie.
