No idea why people didn't like this unique story, that could have been deeply thought provoking. But as it is it's still a pretty unique story with good acting

I thought it was a good movie, will I watch it again? No. But would I love to see a sequel? ABSOLUTELY I'm so pissed there isn't one

It is super adventure filled and fun for a futuristic sci fi movie with an interesting concept! Very shocked at the low Tomato score!

Was a lot better then expected considering critic scores. The overall storyline could have used some work especially in regards to the antagonist but the directing and acting were top notch in my opinion and they did well to not make it corny when it easily could have been.

Seriously, the so called "professionals" gave it a lousy 21, while movies like "Prometheus" or "Alien: Covenant" that are worse than B-movies of the 50ees are certified fresh? Well from now on I will simply disregard whatever the "professionals" say and look at the audience score. There are some loopholes and it's a little bit too western, but at the end the plot works and also the acting. It's not a masterpiece but some entertaining simple sci-fi.

🍀 3.7/10 I feel like this could be better, but what we got was fine. not very good, but I can see some of the image here. I kind of wouldn't mind a sequel, but the way this movie performed critically in box office I'm pretty sure we ain't I guess that's a little sad because I feel like there could be more than to flesh it out otherwise pretty meh film but not a complete waste of time I guess. Grade C

Fairly close to being a good film, for me at least. I could see something positive coming from 'Chaos Walking' at differing moments, though unfortunately all in all it does end up being a pretty underwhelming 109 or so minutes. It holds an interesting concept and I was very much willing it to come to fruition in an entertaining manner but it never does. The 'inner' monologue thing does get a tad annoying, it isn't amazingly implemented via special efforts nor audio - less would've been more, especially of the phrase "control your noise" which is said too often for my liking. The characters, including the main two, could've been far stronger as well, though the acting talent themselves actually do OK. Daisy Ridley and Tom Holland are good names to have attached, though I didn't sense enough onscreen chemistry between the two. Mads Mikkelsen is alright, David Oyelowo's character is probably the only one who didn't intrigue me from the main bunch; the filmmakers could've utilized him better. No surprise to see that this has been received poorly. I didn't dislike it, though I can't really defend it all that strongly either.

Not sure why this picture was such a massive commercial failure. I've seen movies far worse than this and critics and "real" people alike are praising them! I mean, Chaos Walking wasn't great by any means, but it certainly wasn't terrible.

Such a bad movie. There's literally no point. Super mad about the dog.
