This movies use of the f word was in every sentance I would rather have watched "the mean one" a second time. I watched the whole thing out of bordum and was very sad I wasted my time on it.

The first 40 minutes are excruciating. Never have I rooted so hard for every single character in a movie to get the axe.

Premise of a Santa Terminator was good but so many pointless banter scenes. Amazing how most of the town seems to sleep through things blowing up. Complete dross.

Pretty good movie with great dialogue. Laughed multiple times

Meh is the best this movie can do. The script was a first draft middle school term paper at best. Characters weren't relatable or likeable. Scenes dragged too long on boring conversations repeating f-bombs because the writer didn't care. Once the killing starts, you can enjoy a 80s style slasher ticking off victims one by one. Just don't hope for good acting or a sound plot.

This movie is pretty fascinating, the Santa is supposed to be a robotic Santa, every movement he makes to look "robotic" is so forced and the scene where they're inside the car trying to get away is BEYOND infuriating to watch, then the scene with the cop is just as infuriating, just a bad movie through and through.

AI makes this christmas quite bloody Shudder and director Joe Begos bring a new holiday slasher to the mix Think of it as 'Silent Night' meets 'Terminator' A new robotic Santa android has been unveiled with state-of-the-art interaction and animatronics But the government has had to recall all of them due to malfunctioning to its original programming by the US Defense Department Unfortunately one Santa has become sentient and starts going on a killing spree throughout town Our main heroine is Torri, she closes up a record store eager to just have a fun night and let loose But when she meets with her friends at the toy store the murderous Santa happens to be there picking them off one by one The film by Begos spoofs typical Christmas themed advertisements almost acting like a 1980s slasher It's got that atmosphere of the holiday too with the entire town being littered with neon lights and decorations The kills are very brutal and this thing seems to be unstoppable at every turn A lot of the characters really aren't the most intelligent and their dialogue spouts like something along the writings of Eli Roth Riley Dandy makes for a good final girl constantly trying to destroy this Santa, it shows a young woman's dismissal of Christmas that much more scary The film has such a huge climax you almost don't know when it's over...although it could've properly ended instead of just stopping altogether At 87 minutes it's a hell of a ride if not retainable

this movie feels like a love letter to 80s horror and the horror community in general, bringing back that grindhouse feel with obnoxious dialogue, layers and layers of film grain, low budget, practical effects, neon aesthetic and first person POV kills. i love the characters, the standout performances are for sure from Riley Dandy and Sam Delich and Abraham Benrubi as Santa Clause, not only did he do great at portraying Santa but also as a Santa Robot. the christmas feels are 500% there and maybe even a little over the top, with loads of snow, decorations and obviously a killer robot Santa. as i said before this movie has a gorgeous neon aesthetic to it, the lighting is amazing throughout the whole runtime. this movie gives ZERO fucks, and i will warn you, a kid gets killed which i know is the drawing point for some people. the grindhouse feel means that there are jump cuts especially during the kills, sometimes that leads you to be a little confused at what your looking at but you kinda get over it after awhile. the best way to describe this movie is candy, it's short, sweet and a blast from beginning to end. it won't be everyones cup of tea but it certainly was mine. i had so much fun with this one and will 100% be revisiting in the next coming years. this movie is under appreciated and needs more love! i loved this!
