I really liked this. The main character kid really makes you feel like you are without a voice - the things to be communicated that we know that he simply can't - it put me on EDGE mama.

Maravilhoso...

It was fine although it does serve as a starter horror for kids and I think it works

Definitely a watchable movie. Just didn't like the silly cultural commentary after the second half.

In a realm beyond our own, there exists a shy and enigmatic creature named Larry. Unlike any being on Earth, Larry is a monster from a different plane of existence, where darkness reigns and the unknown holds sway. His form is cloaked in mystery, and his existence is shrouded in the secrets of his realm. Despite his fearsome appearance, Larry is a gentle soul, yearning for companionship and understanding in a world that he struggles to navigate. One fateful day, amidst the shadows and whispers of his realm, Larry encounters a kindred spirit from a distant world. Their eyes meet, and in that moment, a connection sparks between them. The human, drawn to Larry's quiet demeanor and gentle nature, sees beyond his fearsome exterior and into the depths of his longing for friendship. As they spend time together, a bond blossoms, transcending the boundaries of their separate worlds. Though Larry is fearful of the light that bathes the human's world, he finds solace in their presence, and the human learns to cherish the darkness that is Larry's home. Together, they navigate the complexities of their friendship, bridging the gap between their disparate realities with understanding, empathy, and unwavering acceptance. Through their unique connection, they teach each other that friendship knows no boundaries, and love transcends even the most extraordinary of differences.

This was the best movie I've seen in years. Never have I felt such joy to know larry exists. I love Larry. He loves me. Larry is love. Larry is life.

If you are just getting into horror, this is a good movie for you. Come Play is a pretty mild horror experience, but it is horror, so there are some pretty intense parts. The message about bullying was also really good. So overall, I thought it was a pretty good movie.

This sucked. It was not scary in the slightest and was just silly. It's such a pity because the concept was cool and if executed well could have been exceptionally creepy & chilling, but it just didn't work. They attempted to do a modern working of The Babadook obviously but it just kind of failed. I think maybe a couple jump scares got me but if that's all you have at the end of a scary movie that's pretty bad. I wouldn't recommend & I wouldn't watch again.
