A solid instalment in the franchise. Sad to see a faded Rocky moping about with grey hair and slightly lost. Has some typical Rocky plot tropes in there but it just about survives those to be a decent enough watch. Saw on Etihad in flight entertainment.

a worthy successor to 30 yeard old school but this time with more emotion and drama then ever in the rocky/creed franchise .

I expected by the second movie for Creed to have found his own footing, but this movie heavily leans on the legacy and character of Rocky. Still, it ties it all into a relevant plot, and with the introduction of some bigger stakes in the second half of the film I found myself engrossed again. I just don't know how many more times I can watch this movie be made.

Creed 2 is a film which is able to achieve one of the rare perks is that it finds the emotional depth of an over-the-top 80s product i.e., Rocky 4. It has some of the best character moments in the entire franchise. Overall, a great follow-up.

It was a great movie but as someone who enjoys the sport of boxing it felt over produced. The plot was good but predictable. Over all a great performance from Michael B Jordan and still a very emotional and exciting movie
  • Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars
Predicable with an unoriginal story yet satisfying with meaningful character struggles & subplots. Sharp camerawork, cinematography, & soundtrack. Overacted but some truly amazing sound editing. Formulaic but emotionally enjoyable.

A fine-crafted movie in every way, it's really what you wish for when you sit down to watch it. It's about a guy who beats other guys getting up from a failure flavored with some family drama and presented by the best of the best.

Builds on the first one, and is just as fun and entertaining to follow.

very predictable, formulaic, and tess thompson cannot act, devoid of charm, warmth or well anything The bringing back of Drago was brilliant, took 2nd watch to amend my score, kind of grows on you

Great symmetry with Rock IV. Maintains a good balance of nostalgia and the contemporary.
