Cruel Jaws

THIS FILM IS NOT APART OF THE JAWS FRANCHISE JUST TO CLARIFY. This was an interesting film. It doesn't have a terrible CGI shark like most shark films use now instead it has that animatronic shark that the jaws films use and I prefer it. It has footage from jaws 2 and 3 and it even has star wars music which is odd. It basically combined the first 3 jaws. Some scenes I just couldn't help but laugh.

If you love seeing several movies at ripped off at once, then you will love this movie. At 2 points in the movie Star Wars music is used. Wow, just wow.

Releasing this as Jaws 5 in some territories was fitting because that series was all about diminishing returns and I can safely say Jaws 4: The Revenge (1987) looks like a masterpiece next to this.

Sometimes a movie is so horrible it's actually a masterpiece. "Cruel Jaws" is one of those. The dialogue, the acting, editing, effects - everything adds up to one of the most entertaining 90 min you'll ever experience. Definitely a great party film to watch with friends. The story revolves around a Hulk Hogan look-alike and his family (which includes his little wheelchair-bound daughter who loves to swim - you can see where this is going) running the smallest water park in America while battling an evil landlord, his bully son, mafia and finally the psychotic shark. Must-see for any lovers of so-bad-it's-good genre films from the 80s.

One and a half stars (the half star is for the blatant gall of these idiots to include actual ‘Jaws 1, 2 and 3’ movie clips and dialogue - hoping that no one would notice). A Must See horrible train wreck of a movie, starring Hulk Hogan and Matt Damon look alike actors (they were a-lot less expensive to cast)! Best Line: “You’re gonna need a bigger helicopter!’ A solid plagiarized classic! Still - It’s better than watching ‘Jaws -The Revenge’ -

Awesomely bad! This movie takes itself very seriously on a sad level. I’m not sure how they were legally able to pass this plagiarism off as their own without getting royally sued. Love it for the train wreck that it is.

The Worst Shark Movie Ever Made! Steals Footage From Other Movies And Steals A Couple Seconds Of The Star Wars Theme!

Great!!! Low budget however.
