Cupid (2020) suffers from a low budget and it shows. The concept is not a bad one, but the special effects were dire and the acting was often quite unrealistic. The only saving grace was the character of Elise. The actress playing her (ST Cohen) put in a very decent performance, indeed she played the 'mean' girl well. She has a certain flair and on-screen presence missing from her co-stars, making her performance undoubtedly the breakout performace of the film. Indeed the camera loves her, which is not surprising given her good looks. Not unwatchable, but not one for the collection. Hope to see STC star in bigger budget films to showcase her obvious talent.

I haven't watched this movie (Yet) and I already hate it. I will watch it though to see what I think about and will update my review if it's good.

It is the worst movie I've ever watched. I was cringing through the whole thing. I mean it's 2020 how on earth do you make such a thing and release it to the world? Jesus Christ there are 90's horror movies that are way better than this thing😒.

If you make it through the lamentable, children's story intro ( all of the infuriating 5 minutes ), you will not be rewarded. Lame sets, lame script, lame delivery....might as well have called it Lame. My new goal in life, to convince some gullible movie house [sic], with a lot of disposable income, that I have a sure fire movie on paper, take their money ( emigrate ) and read about their pending financial meltdown.

They really forgot to make the character bald as shown in the cover. honestly It's a 1.5 from me. The acting is REALLY AWKWARD and just BEYOND TERRIBLE. The movie was quite dull, yet, somehow some scenes felt unfinished or skipped. To be honest, I'm not really hating on it, it's just I want my 1 hour and 20 mins back.
