Dead for a Dollar

It is a lower budget movie, but Waltz in the lead role is always a pleasure to watch. The characters are bit over the top, Dafoe being one of them. The sets are a bit sparse, making the movie show its limited budget, but overall a good story and I enjoyed it as a streaming movie.

It's disappointing that Hill was given such little money for this (speaks ill of our current era) but he mostly makes it work letting his pulpy dialogue do a lot of heavy lifting.

Good new western with action and good actors. Not the best but entertaining. Hollywood and westerns are back

Western senza grandi spunti, che anzi sembra fare di tutto per non avere picchi in maniera inspiegabile. A partire dalla scelta del regista di creare un film dai colori appiattiti, con una tonalità ocra a coprire ogni altro colore, come se già non bastasse il paesaggio arido e le strutture in legno; togliendo quasi tutta la forza della fotografia. Altro delitto è quello di non dare abbastanza importanza a due attori come Waltz e Dafoe, che sembrano soldatini che recitano la loro parte, senza entusiasmo. Addirittura, il personaggio di Waltz, è sotto certi aspetti sinistramente simile a quello ben più famoso e riuscito di "Django"; sintomo del poco interesse dell'attore nel costruire qualcosa di nuovo.

What is this new genre of crappy Westerns? It's so bad, it's laughable in many scenes. I guess Christoph Waltz, was looking for an easy payday 💰

Very fun film that knows exactly what it is , everyone in it had so much screen presence it really keeps your eyes glued to the screen

Wow! What s terrible movie. And a western. A genre that allows for pretty bad acting as it is, and yet the acting in this movie was probably the worst I've ever seen. AND WITH GOOD ACTORS! WTF!

Like a western, but written directed and played entirely by autistic robots.
