Deewane Huye Paagal

Essentially replicating the story and style of There's Something About Mary while incorporating some Bollywood-style elements, this film, unfortunately, loses balance in character development and narrative investment. It fails to capture the essence of the original.

One Full extra star just for Akshay Kumar for saving the film from being totally forgettable.

Deewane Huye Paagal is not bad, but not great either! It is hilarious at parts, but that's pretty much it! It is not a direct sequel to Awara Paagal Deewana, and even if it was, it is no where close to APD because the original was a mass entertainer! Whereas this DHP is entertaining aswell, but nowhere near APD! Watch APD, then come and watch DHP! Recommended (One Time Watch) Verdict = Above Average

Funny, bit slow going, good stunts but random insertion of Hollywood scene which didn't fit the character concerned... Watcheable
