Wow, just wow. And not in a good way. This movie started off slow, slowed down, then shifted into reverse. I love a slow burn but the fuse would NOT stay lit on this one. I had to watch this uninteresting, wearisome yarn in installments. The dialogue was terrible… the story, disjoined… new characters get introduced well into the second act that don't really factor into the plot. JFC, such horsesh*t writing. This movie is patently stupid. There's absolutely no reason for the run time—should have been 90-105 min TOPS! I like Mel, and I like Vaughn, but this is not their best work. Not to mention wasting MJW. Ugh. What a steaming crock.

A- it slowly but surely keeps you interested to its end. what i loved most about it was the dialogue, also Mel Gibson's performance. overall it was a worthy watch.

I thought this was raw and unpolished (in a good way). Compelling characters. When the girl from Dexter got her arm blown off my jaw dropped.

What a joke of a plot. How critics gave it more than a c grade is to me just evidence that the movies are a business and critics are part of that business. The dialogue was forced. The stupid percentages that Gibson endlessly mouthed. Not worth watching.

If you need noise to be on in the background while you nap then this is your movie. Absolutely awful. My first review. I created the account to let others know how terrible this movie is.

A mostly decent film hurt by an awful ending that does nothing to address theme, it basically ignores it, as well as having 0 character arc development.

Aspects are fun, but the writer is way too visible in the dialogue. Something just slightly too showy about it, you can just see them at the edge of the different characters, not so much the writer in their shoes, as they in his.
