- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsNice movie. A bit long though.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThere are many developments and it will exceed your imagination. Not just terrorism, but also political aspects were involved, which reminded me of a little Shin Godzilla development. How to draw the government side, how to draw foreign countries, etc. The appearance of a police officer solving problems head-on was truly a superhero movie. I thought that Lee Byung Hun was the main character, but Song Kang Ho of Parasite was the real main character. Song Kang Ho, really good. Anyway, everyone who comes out is a good person. It's supposed to be a scary and panic movie about plane terrorism, but it's a warm and gentle movie. Even in the theater, I could hear everyone's sobs, and something touched me. I'm glad it ended with a happy ending.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsIn Japan the advertising claim that "it was the start of an unimaginable flight to hell" is no exaggeration at all. The choices that bioterrorism, which is clearly a reference to a real-life disease, forces us to make are very heavy. Song Gang-ho is, of course, into the role of a hot-blooded detective, just as he is in the image. Lee Byung-hun plays an unusually broken-hearted father, but his charm blossoms with increasing conviction towards the end. Jeong Do-yeon plays a minister who shows that she is a master of her art. The actors are also at their most charming. The brutal shots of the passengers and crew slamming into the ceiling, with the camera fixed inside the spinning fuselage, were truly fresh shots that went beyond existing depictions of panic. As for the plot, the politically tense scenes with Japan almost took me back to the real world, but the unpredictable developments characteristic of Korean cinema kept me on the edge of my seat until the end.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsBeing rather rote, staid, and making everything as dire as it can be makes this lose any subtlety it might have had, but I can't say I was not entertained, though it could have clocked in at an appreciably shorter length.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsSouth Korea and their overdramatic films!
