- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starswas cool. not bad, not bad at all
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsCamera crew were spot on in every scene especially the underwater shots. The film could've delivered a little more details to the back story concerning Sandeep, Usha and Krishnan's characters.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsI just signed up here at rotten tomatoes to state what an absolutely ridiculous movie this is. It's way beyond the point of 'it's so bad that it is good again'..it is just bad.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsI expected more from this. I was disappointed. I don't even know where to begin with the criticism... Just re-do the whole thing.
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsEvil Eye is the weakest of the four entries in Welcome to the Blumhouse. Good portrayals of a culture not seen enough in mainstream Hollywood can't save it. It's all too predictable, with reincarnated cheese on the side.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsHer mom really wants her to get married - but not to him. He reminds her too much of a past abusive relationship. The unfortunate part is that Sandeep, the evil one, doesn't really come across very evil.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsEngaging Psychodrama with Minimal Thrills
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThis is an interesting movie: It's not all that good as a horror film, it takes too long to get to confirm the gag and then moves too quickly to the denouement. But... the cast is so good that it kept me engaged, it avoided the dumbest tropes of the genre, and it was a a really nice, quiet, slow burn. The wonderful cast includes the gorgeous Sarita Choudury from Mississippi Masala and Homeland and the absolutely adorable Sunita Mani from Glow and Omar Maskati, who I only know from Better Call Saul is a fantastic heavy. For viewers old enough to remember The Reincarnation of Peter Proud, this is a film for you. For those too young to remember, go check it out if you can find it.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsEven with a suspension of belief (my daughter's boyfriend is a reincarnation of my boyfriend because he was born 9 months after the death of my boyfriend and he used a common expression that mine used to use), the movie was painfully pointless. There's neither horror nor thrill.
