Extraction 2

Quite the action movie. A worthy sequel. The train scene is definitely one of the best action sequences on film. The story is also a bit better.

None stop action, what a great story Chris Hemsworth was amazing. I hope they make a part three.

It is perfect. The CGI, the action scenes, and all of it is just perfect, I may have just watched it 5 times actually. I recommend you should watch it.

Almost exactly what you want from the sequel to Extraction. Not quite 4 stars because the story loses out to the action too much. Either a slightly longer film or reducing the 20 minute oner for more story would have helped.

Not stupid. Most action sequels are stupid. They take the original characters and then turn everything up a notch, including CGI and reliance on the audience's willing sense of disbelief. This does some great set pieces (probably 8?) of which hardly any could do with cutting down (maybe 2?). Refreshingly high on non-green-screen stunts. Taking four stars off for the sad injured hero goes to secret log cabin trope but adding one star for idris elba, one star for decent kid actors and one star for sweary hemsworth. Would definitely watch Extraction 3

Not great as extraction 1 but an engaging action flick

Digna secuela a la altura de la original, a nivel accion, explosiones y adrenalina es incluso mas grande y mejor que esta. La historia es medio floja, todos los primeros minutos sobre la "resurrección" del protagonista y el argumento de ir a rescatar a la cuñada suena casi ridículo pero lo hicieron funcionar. Dura 2 horas pero esta tan buena que se me hizo corta.

Bigger is not always better. While the action sequences and gun fights remain incredible, the larger scale of this movie really pushes it right up to the line of what can be believed. The camera crew was really the star of this one.

74%. Felt like the plot was lacking depth. Seemed like basically he recovered from last movie to save his ex's sister and family from a prison they were trapped in with her baby daddy. He ends up killing the dad in prison and the uncle comes after him and the family. Some very long and big, intense action scenes. Action was good but rest of story was very limited. Solid if you just want a lot of action. 2/10 rewatch

Looking forward for the third installment.
