Extreme Job

It's all quite amusing up to a point, but unfortunately that point arrives early on in this practically two-hour-long take on a one-gag premise.

Though undeniably slight and silly, Extreme Job is a solid popcorn flick, with enough laughs and thrills to keep the viewer entertained

This comedy balances its action setpieces - there are shootouts, extended fight scenes and car chases aplenty - with slower character-driven scenes that give viewers something to root for.

I could pick out nearly any individual seven minute stretch of this movie and find some fairly brilliant gags. The problem is, add seven minutes to seven minutes to seven minutes and then...it all gets to be a little tiring.

Side splittingly funny from start to finish with unrivalled chemistry from each of the lead actors - it's the action-comedy we've all been waiting for.

Original, endlessly amusing, and ultimately gratifying, Extreme Job is a contender for feel-good movie of the year.

Broad but very funny police farce casts a critical eye at consumerism.

The witty screenplay eventually devolves into a series of anticlimactic scuffles, but along the way Extreme Job does give audiences plenty of finger-licking fun.

Aside from the mouth-watering shots of fried chicken, the movie has laughs, too.
