This was awful like really bad

What waste of digital sprites. If Firestarter 1984 wasn't bad enough, this version manages to make it look good.

Never read the book, but the movie was really... Awkward. From cinematology to acting, nothing felt particularly good. Seems full of plot holes as well. Best part is the credits music, which makes me think I want to watch a sequel that someone more competent would direct.

I don't get why some people put this down so much. For someone ( not me ) who never knew of the book or the previous film, this would be along par with day of the dead/28 weeks later/IT type films. So many critics in the end become fussy britches. I enjoyed it. You should all go make a film if your that ace at judging. Ooooo rant over grrr

complete garbage, felt like a child wrote it

Very stiff acting, also the special effects were cheap. I did not enjoy that movie, is not "So Bad It's Good" situation

This movie was a joke! Read the book!

I wish it were longer and expanded on the characters more but the movie had its moments.

This kind of felt like a film that could've released in January. 🍀

#MovieReview #FirestarterMovie This is a very good movie and I never seen the original so in beginning I was weirded out because I didn't realize is this horror or superhero But over all it's a good movie and seeing Zac Efron as a dad is so wild cause he's Troy Bolton. But definitely heck it out for sure worth it.
