Follow Her

Well-paced, full of suspense, it keeps you engaged throughout. Follow Her successfully contributes to the new genre of horror that extensively utilizes the concept of online social media followers.

This was terrible!! The main character passed up her chance to leave the cabin but didn't! First she's creeped out, then she's making out with the dude. Then creeped out, then making out with her foot in his mouth! I can't believe I wasted my time on this garbage.

Not too thrilling, tries to be hard hitting social commentary but falls short. Not too horrific and not sure what the point of sex scenes. This is a mess.

Fantastic, well written movie that glues you to every detail. Leave your expectations at the door when watching this thriller as you will be very intrigued and left speechless. Follow Her is definitely for those who enjoy thinking and love a little deception.

I really enjoyed this. It's well-written and engaging throughout. It surprised me with a plot twist that was nowhere on my radar, which more and more movies now fail to do for me. It's worth the watch.

The movie touched a lot the issue of misogyny with "insulting", childish lines that were spitted out. However I could not understand if that was a commentary on how unintelligent misogyny can be or a true reflection of how the script views the protagonist (and women who are "like her" in any way... meaning all women. We all have some similarities.). I think the movie displays how much worst the people who pretend to be better than the ones they hate can be and how much they are really after controlling and infiltrating every aspect of their lives. Was Tom really pissed about what she was doing or the fact that she had the freedom to do it, since he did worst things to her. But the message was not 100% clear to me unfortunately. Except if the real question that the writer wanted as to ask in the end is "Who is really the bad guy?" Then the answer was obvious, the eople who abducted and torture her and then proceeded to stalk her were worst.

Great plot twists in this movie! Suspense without any gore too. I like that. Very entertaining!

Not only did I find this film entertaining, but what a commentary on society's obsession with social media and the online image we present. I really enjoyed it!

You can tell the people involved in making the movie know what they are doing. The production quality and acting is a solid 5 stars. The story for me was a solid 3 stars. I suppose if I was more into social media (or used it at all) I would have found more of a connection with the storyline. Regardless its definitely worth checking out.

Was a great independent film. Not what I expected, but in a good way. Definitely a relevant film in the current environment and spawned some good conversations afterwards.
